This type of lenses have their lens coatings and are available in various lens types such as Hi-tech, Ledo, and Purevision. Most of these lenses are usually made up of Hi-tech which are coated with Hi-Eco glass. Ledo lens uses high-intensity discharge (HI-ED) to filter and absorb the sunlight entering the eyes through its special lens coatings. Purevision lens which is manufactured by Ray-Ban is an example of this type of lens coatings.
